Jobeky 3 zone cymbal has recently started switching randomly between edge, bow and mute on it's own. Not sure if hardware or software issue. Any ideas basesd on the attached video? At a bit of a loss.

Jobeky 3 zone cymbals trigger issue
Re: Jobeky 3 zone cymbals trigger issue
Most of the time, an issue like that is either a faulty cable (short between the TRS) or some solder that came loose at the connector.
Start by switching to a different cable, if still unresolved, then investigate the solder on the cymbal.

Had a go with 3 other cables but didn’t fix it. Not familiar with the internals. Should I open it up and take a picture?
Re: Jobeky 3 zone cymbals trigger issue
Doubt it will show on a picture, unless it's really broken and rotten solder.
I'm guessing it's only a small box mounted on the cymbal, housing the connector. Either check yourself, or have someone with a solder gun/station to redo the connection.

Yep, it's just a generic box.
I would unscrew it, lift it gently (trying not to pull out the wires, especially for the switch) while still connected to the eDRUMin. If it starts triggering zones, then it would be a solder breakup.

I yanked the rubber seal back that seems to have worked for now. Might have been false triggering the cymbal.
