Hello everybody,
up to now I have always used acoustic cymbals because I was not very confident about the actual electronic performance.
Now I would like to try to modify the set making it all electronic, do you have any advice on hi-hats and crashes that work well on the module? I mainly use superior drummer 3

Re: Cymbals advice
Yamaha cymbals work very well, and are cheaper than Roland.
Bonus, the ride is only one cable, without doing any trick to get all 3 zones. I also tested the PCY155 ride and it was doing position triggering very nicely.
But the Yamaha HH pedal is not the best. Either go with something from another company, or DIY it.

Thank for replying!
Nah, I'm not a DIY person... I prefer to pay and know that I have a professional product that works as it should! My big fear is unfortunately the hi hat, do you have any advice? I would prefer to have the feeling with rod and if possible double flat

Re: Cymbals advice
Roland VH-10,VH-11 or VH-13 would be my picks. I went with the VH-13 since I like having a bottom hat, doesn't add anything but it's visually more pleasing
All those hi hats require a regular hi hat stand.

Re: Cymbals advice
I have a single ATV 14” sitting on top of a VH-11 knockoff. Works really well with the eDRUMin. I get three zones with one cable using Bell Sense. I use ATVs. And the same is true for all my cymbals… three zones on one cable using Bell Sense.
