DDRUM 4 SE single-cable Hi Hat Controller

Hello, Does the Edrumin trigger unit work with a single-cable Hi Hat Controller from a Ddrum 4 SE kit? This only has a single trs output and is described as 'hall effect sensor-based'. Thanks!
