Since the eDRUMin 4 has four trigger inputs, does that mean that by connecting 4 x Yamaha XP80 triple zone pads we can have access to 12 different sounds with the device ? (12 diff midi notes sent).

Thanks,
Francis.

There are still people reading manuals these days?
Kudos to you... you are a species in danger of extinction. :)

So true! I actually read manuals (if available) before I purchase the product. Manuals have a way of cutting through the marketing BS and telling you how the product really works.

Can you have a 3-way splitter to work with 1 input on the edrumin? Like 3 toms on 1 edrumin input. I know the edrumin can support a yamaha 3-zone tom on 1 input so I was just wondering.

Hi Rob,
Looking to buy two eDRUMin 4.
Will everything work with an Alesis Strike module and pads/cymbals ?
Thanks.

If you're hoping to trigger sounds on the strike, that would be pretty tricky with an ED4.

So you don't recommand it with a Strike module ?
Thanks.
