(probably) Dumb UI / device limit question with ED10+ED4

I know from reading in past that there is a limit of 4 devices the UI can show at a time and if you have > 4, you have to temporarily disconnect one to make changes to config on ports on the additional units.
However I am wondering if that is still a limitation when you have 4 ED4's plugged in via USB2.0 hub to the host port of an ED10.
I can see 4 ED4's connected to the ED10 (UI shows 5 devices total). But I can't actually get the UI to switch to the 4th ED4's ports/display etc when selecting it, the highlight updates to the 4th devices (red mark underneath) but it is still showing what I have connected to 3rd ED4.
Is this considered normal? I updated to 1.6.2.6 due to having ED10's now as well.
If I should be able to access/edit/configure port settings for all 4 ED4's while they connected to same USB2 hub plugged into host port of my ED10, then I may have a problem of some kind with one or more of my EDx devices -- although when only the 4 ED4's are connected I don't think I'm having any issues. (this seems like biggest clue to me there is still a limit on # of simultaneously connected EDx devices for the Control UI app).
This is true (what I'm seeing) either with one or both of my ED10's connected. (one ED10 has no devices connected to host port). With the 2nd ED10 connected it does show both of them, and (understandably) I only see the 4 ED4 devices listed when I have selected the ED10 they are connected to.
Also just FYI the 2nd ED10 isn't intended to be ON my kit all the time but rather just as a spare/backup in case my ED10 fails. I dont plan on having both connected, don't have enough things to bang on for all that
Also, will the UI of the v2 beta/release series of control app change that # of simultaneously connected EDx devices supported?
Thanks!
