Global Preset For EdrumIn/Multiple EdrumIns?

Hello, I'm totally new to the forum and the EdrumIn world. I just recently purchased a couple of EdrumIn 10 interfaces and I'm very happy with them overall. Namely, the intuitive software and the fact that they just work once you get things set up.

I initially bought the 56 input Mega Drum and while it was a nightmare to learn and get things dialed in, it did help teach me a lot of things principally about electronic drums and triggering so that I was much further along once I jumped into the EDrumIn world.

I've been using SD3 for a few years now and am solid on knowing how to get around on the software. I have about 12 different kits that I built within it (a collection of SD3 and EZD2 kits).

I know this is a total newby question, but I've searched the forum here and can't seem to find (or maybe just understand) an answer to this.

I pretty much have EDrumIn dialed in for a specific kit. And I've saved presets for the individual inputs with all settings and midi assignments. But, as far as I can see there is no way to save a global preset for both of my EDrumIn 10 interfaces so that I can just select a simple preset that changes all inputs for use with a different SD3 kit. Mega Drum did have this which was very useful. I would imagine this is a feature that has been discussed or requested long before now. Is there something I'm missing with software version 1.6.2 or are there plans to add a global preset section?

Thanks,

Steve

This has been requested. Currently you can save a device preset, witch is a snapshot of the all the device's settings. Just open the Preset Manager and click on one of your devices and you'll be able to save and send snapshots to it.

A global snapshot for multiple devices is a bit trickier. I'm not going to entirely rule this out, but it's not currently on the road map.

Awesome. That works just fine for me. Just two simple preset loads and I'm good to go. MUCH better than having to load each input one at a time. A great product and awesome customer support as well. Thanks Rob!
