Symbol Unknown

Post by Mat1515 »

Hi,

I cannot find this referenced in the manual anywhere. Could someone explain what this symbol means? It's an exclamation point (!) next to a cymbal input. Everything appears to be functioning normally, not sure why it's there.

thanks,

Matt

You typically see that when the eDrumIn doesn't properly recognize the connected pad. Try disconnecting the cable from the eDrumIn then reconnecting, or if that doesn't work, turning the device off then on again. That usually fixes it.

OK. It's a diy rig. Glad to know no harm is being done.

You shouldn't see that if the input is set to dual mono. It's probably a display bug. Do you happen to know what steps led to you seeing that?

It is set as dual mono.

I'm running 2, 35mm piezos roland style wiring to a single TRS channel. Seems to only occur when selecting 2zone cymbal, 2 zone pad (snare/rim) does not show the issue with same wiring setup.
