Hi Rob,

on the eDRUMin4 I had to power the Hall sensor externally and used a 9 V DC power supply and a DC-DC regulator, that
I soldered "into" the cable. Do I have to remove it, when changing the setup the the eDRUMin10?

No, you wouldn't need to remove it as long as it doesn't output more the 3.3V.

ED10R2 and ED4R2 can easily power 3.3V Hall effect sensors, so if you are using an ED10R2 and your sensor is 3.3V compatible, I would just power it from the ED10R2.

That was the point ;) :

I would like to leave the soldered cable as it is, and just plug it into the eDRUMin10 pedal input, without further power supply.
