Any plans for drum maps for Steven Slate Drums?

Post by CapCrunch »

I'm using SSD5 free version and considering the full version. With a tight budget this seems like a decent value but, as a newcomer to many topics here, maybe I'm missing the extra features Superior drummer, addictive drummer, bfd have. Anyway, any thoughts on drum maps for SSD? Thanks.

I tried to download a copy of the SSD5 for this exact purpose, but a downlead link was never emailed to me. If you can tell me default mapping, I'll add the map.

I’m away from the computer for the weekend, but I can send next week. This request is reasonable, but note SSD5.5 added a MIDI learn capability which makes creating a user defined midi map super easy.

Edit: for SSD5.5 you find the articulation you want to map and then you hit learn then hit the pad.

Good to know. At my basic level I'm sure it will help. I'm going to post another topic on the difference between these drum programs as that gets away from the original topic here.Thanks.

I took screenshots of the default SSD5.5 Midi map. See attached.

Here's what I've got. I added maps for the percussion sounds to. Does anyone know the default notes for percussion sounds on Roland moduules?
