(maybe dumb) questions before purchasing eDRUMin10

So I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing an eDRUMin 10, I just want to make sure I'll have enough inputs and I understand this correctly.
So I have a 7-piece A2E kit, with electronic hi-hat, ride, and two crash cymbals.
With 10 inputs available, is this correct / workable:
[*]Snare: 1x TSR input
[*]ATV Hi-Hat: 1x TSR input, 1x pedal input
[*]Bass-drum: 1x TSR input
[*]ATV Ride: 2x TSR inputs
[*]ATV Crash cymbals: using drum-splitter into 1x TSR input (both using edge zone only)
[*]Tom 1 and Tom 2: using drum-splitter into 1x TSR input (sacrificing edge zone)
[*]Tom 3: 1x TSR input
[*]Tom 4: 1x TSR input
[*]Tom 5: 1x TSR input

That all seems good. Using EDGE SENSE, you'll probably be able to get two zones out of each of those toms you have connected with the splitter. And although the wiring becomes a bit complicated, your bass drum and the bell connection of your ATV ride can share an input giving you one additional input left over.

Bell Sense works well with the ATV cymbals. Check it out and see if you can get by with just one input for the ride.

That's not what I've heard, but I don't own any ATV cymbals. After I'm close to finishing version 1.5, I'm going to try to rent a boat load of pads and make presets.

I’m not sure who is telling you that but all I have is ATV. I have all their sizes and cymbals except the FX. I use one cable and have bell sense working on all of them. Even the small splash and their 14” I use for my hi-hats work. I’d say they are 99.9% accurate. I have the 14” hats and splash set to CY-8 and the sense set to about 50. The larger cymbals 16” and 18” and China I set to CY-13 and the sense number is dialed in for each one.
I even have the bell articulations stacked and gated in SD3 on the rides so that when a velocity of 127 is registered I get a bell shank and 126 and below I get a bell tip. I do the same thing for the bow.
I’m very happy with the results of Bell Sense and the ATVs.
I’d love to hear your take on it when you get a couple.
