Hi, does anyone know
when and why Rob changed it into a single fader?
How is head / rim sensitivity set?

Thr rimshot range control takes the place of the rim gain.

I looked at the videos and it showed two faders. I thought I was missing something. I'm having a problem with it like this. I can't get the rim to reliably trigger unless I tap the side of the shell.

Hi guys,

so, in detail, it is the horizontal white indicator that makes the trigger results more or less sensitive to the rim piezo?
If I need to set these controls leading to a small gray area below the indicator I have a less sensitive rim piezo and vice versa?

It's the left vertical bar. In version 1.5, for ED4R2, ED10, ED10R2, the left vertical bar effects the analog gain of the rim piezo. In version 1.4 the head and the rim piezo always use the same amount of analog gain. You might want to give version 1.5 a go to see if it helps with your rim sensitivity issues. As a further note, the velocity of the rim articulation is always derived from the head sensor. In version 1.6 I'm thinking about allowing the rim velocity to be determined by the rim piezo, but no promises.
