Maybe something else (pedal or CC related?) is interfering?

I still haven't tested on my end yet. I should have time today.

Changes in build 12
  • A preset that was saved from a Dual Mono input and applied to a Stereo will turn make the stereo input to mono.
  • A small change to HSS to prevent unreasonable amounts of suppression from being applied.
  • Reduce the sensitivity of the piezo / switch compatibility check for ED10.
Monospace, I tried to reproduce the issue you were seeing on the ED4 hihat, but was unable.

MWJT42, this should take care of your disappearing notes. Let me know if the issue still persists.

Looks like the hit was misinterpreted as being over the hotspot. I think I noticed a hit like this yesterday when I was playing. The hit was near the edge I assume? I'll see if I can make a few adjustments.
Thanks Rob, that makes sense. Yes it was an edge hit. Happens playing fast or slow.

Edit: just seen your update. Thanks for the fast response. Will let you know.

I was kinda lazy about fixing it. I basically just added a reasonability check at the end of the hotspot suppression algorithm. It basically says, "Reduce suppress this hit by over 75%! That's ridiculous." and just returns the original velocity.

I played for over an hour today and didn't experience a single lost hit--no issues with my hats that were handled by an ED4 plugged into the back of my ED10 either. I'm pretty hopeful that we can put this one in the bank and start talking about ideas for version 1.4!

Cannot update ED4 connected to ED10 Host port, clicking on the exclamation mark does nothing.

Updating a device connected to the host port is not possible at this time.
