eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Can’t wait to try this out. Especially the separate velocity curves. For the bell input on a 3 zone metal cymbal does the bell still have to be on the ring?

Monospace,
I removed your post and updated the build 6 installer. You can download it again and it should be gone.

I can confirm build 7 fixes: Fixed an issue with default hihat note bank value when updating from version 1.3.

I can confirm the auto select is working now with my single eDRUMin 10.Rob wrote:Changes in build 7I re-coded my pedal sensing feature from the ground up. Should be able to distinguish between Roland and Yamaha style controllers much more reliably. I would be great if people can test their hihat setup with pedal sensing on and off to make sure it's working as it should. With pedal sensing enabled, Yamaha style controllers will initially look like footswtiches but should correctly switch to hihat pedals as soon as you begin pressing the pedal.
- New pedal sensing method to improve reliability (should resolve issue with VH-12).
- Fixed an issue with selected input changing even when autoselect is off.
- Fixed an issue with default hihat note bank value when updating from version 1.3.
- Changed the default hihat pedal calibration to work better with VH-10/12/13.
I did not recalibrate my HH (VH10). It was working before. Do you recommend I recalibrate with the beta software?

You shouldn't need to adjust any settings.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Two bugs to report.
Hihat controller not working properly after power cycle.
If you have 'sense' disabled, your hihat will not work properly after power cycling the unit. The workaround is to keep 'sense' enabled. Will fix soon.
Calibration issue: steps to reproduce.
1. Turn on calibration.
2. Calibrate using your foot.
3. Turn off calibration.
4. Turn on calibration.
5. Adjust the left side of the calibration using the mouse
6. Press the pedal.
7. Turn off calibration.
Result, calibration is completely messed up! The workaround is to avoid step 6.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Hi Rob,
In 1.4.0.7 I think my Hall effect pedal is once again not getting power from the E10. Just no movement at all from the pedal
EDIT - downgraded to 1.4.0.5 and pedal is working again.
I noticed recently I could click on the edge of the green bar for the hi-hat pedal calibration and pull it wider. Is that a feature and if so what is it for?
