I have the same problem.
On repeated attempts he writes: Error....This deviceis not supported by this version...
Can you give me some information about your computer.

Hi Rob,
today I tried to change the firmware again and it worked...
I have a PC running Win10Pro.
The only difference compared to yesterday is that windows had downloaded updates.
It worked today after the update. That's the only thing that has changed.
Even though it works I email you a log to explore.

I've noticed if a Windows 10 computer has downloaded and applied updates (has orange dot icon in lower right by the time) you really need to restart - a lot of strange behavior can happen otherwise

Ok so I've also found my issue. A failed update that Windows didn't notify me about. I had to roll back some updates to sort it and mess around in command prompt a bit but I'm now on the latest firmware :)

Hi Rob, I found something else that could be a bug. I am connecting an old octopad to the midi in on edrumin 10. Every thing seemed fine -the sounds play. I am triggering round-robin samples in Battery 4. The problem is that the 2 samples for each instrument, that are supposed to play alternating, are playing in unison only.
If I plug the octopad into a midi interface and directly into the laptop the round-robins work perfectly.
I have an Alesis DX7 plugged into the host port and it triggers the round-robins with no problem.
Any idea way this doesn't work through the edrumin midi in? Can it be fixed? thanks for your help, Mbira

Do you see double notes in the MIDI Monitor?

but the octopad is just sending 1 midi note. it is battery 4 that triggers the alternate samples. But maybe there must be something in the midi signal that is different?

I edited my other two posts to be a little more precise. there is a midi on and off for each hit on a pad shown in the midi monitor. Is that what you mean. but the octopad is just sending 1 midi note for each hit as it should. it is battery 4 that alternates samples (they have the same midi #). But maybe there must be something in the midi signal that is different when put through edrumin?

A midi note involves an on and off message, so no issues there. Do you have octapad connected via ISB to your computer? It's probably receiving the note from the octapad and the eDRUMin.
