eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
I've since checked with ED4, ED4R2 ED10, and ED10R2 and I'm not seeing an issue.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Two issues. I’m on OS beta version 37.
1) when I disconnect the eDRUMin 10 from my computer and plug it immediately back into the computer the eDRUMin control app does not recognize the device. The screen does not change from “plug in your eDRUMin”. I power cycle the eDRUMin and does not change, same issue. I have to close the app and reopen.
2) I took a mini kit to my kids’ school for a show and tell. Mini kit was an alesis strike multipad connected to an midi in of my DRUMin 10. I had a VH10 and KD10 connected to the eDRUMin. I didn’t have my laptop so I used the USB HOST port of the eDRUMin connected to my slave Td-17 module. I ops checked at home and made sure my note bank was set correctly, and it all worked. I did this check with my laptop connected to the eDRUMin. However when I got to my kids’ school and I set up the kit the VH10 was not operating correctly. There was no consistent HH chic sound/pedal note, and when I did a foot splash that triggered a chic sound every time. So when I got home I set my kit back up again and the kit worked just fine with the Td-17 and the VH10, however I had my laptop connected to eDRUMin. When I disconnected the laptop (and power cycled the eDRUMin based on your previous feedback on a resistor issue, I think it was) the same issue occurred again. No consistent HH chic sound/pedal note and the splash note was a HH chic sound, every time.

An external power supply. One of those recommended types. Boss, I think? It was plugged into power strip that was powering the whole mini kit, and a Simmons drum amp.Rob wrote:When the hihat issue occurred. How were you poweriy the ED10?
Same set up as at home.

Dadwrshpdrum,
I was unable to reproduce either of your issues here. I tested with a device that also has the mixed up resistors, but I found no problems using my VH-10. The TD-17 uses it's own DC power, right?

Yes, TD-17 plugged into its own power source. Literally the system works great and then I unplug the USB cable from the computer and the VH10 is no longer performing as expected. I power cycle and it does not improve.Rob wrote:Dadwrshpdrum,

Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
Okay I figured out what is going on. When I power cycle the eDRUMin with it not connected to the computer and the app running the pedal note bank switches to note bank 4. Which I have set up for a specific EZX, and has non Roland notes. All of the other pads remain at note bank 2 (which is my note bank for the Td-17).Dadwrshpdrum wrote:Yes, TD-17 plugged into its own power source. Also trying to figure this out with the other issue I wrote about (the control app not recognizing the powered device) was really annoying, but I got there.
So in summary the pedal note bank is changing on a power cycle and not remaining at the last set, unlike the other pads.
