I apologize in advance for double-posting (I just put up a new thread today) but I need to know if my Lemon 18" is defective or it happens to be me that's defective since I can't get the bell to trigger at all.
It's set up as a Roland 3-zone Ride. Depending on the order I plug the two stereo input jacks in I either get nothing at all (bow sometimes triggers when hit very hard,) or only bow & tip triggering. I have also tried switching the quick-connect internally but that didn't seem to help.
Just to be clear, I get no apparent signal for bell hits at all no matter how hard I hit.
Also, I do get choke which works fine.

This seems to contradict what you've said in the link below. Please clarify. And make sure you unplug the pads from the eDRUMin when switching cables around.

Hi, in the case of no signal.
Check your cables.
I would take a multimeter/voltmeter/circuit analyzer and check if the
bell switch is working. If it works the signal is lost on it's way to the jack.
As I know the build quality of those cymbals it could also be a cold joint on the PCB.
What about your input wiring mode?

I'm not sure what contradiction I made in my other post, if you could clarify for me, Rob?mprinz wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 10:50 pmHi, in the case of no signal.

I have a multimeter and some basic experience using it but tbh I'm not sure what I should be checking for since I don't really know how the switches work on a two input ride, or how to know what I'm looking for really to test if the bell is working.
If I know I have the right jack hooked up with the quick-connect it would be a good start. Having it on either jack didn't give me a bell signal either way but at least I could narrow down how I should be testing it.
Meanwhile I'll look for some bad solder I guess.

Glad it is working for you! I may take the lazy way out (at least for now) for the new cymbal adds and just run 2 cables each for the extra ride and crash I'm adding, I have enough parts to make a couple more adapter cables but right now I don't need them.

Mprinz,
Does your adapter work reliably in version 2 now. I made some small changes to try to fix your issue. Would be great to know if the changes resolved your issues or if I need to make more adjustments.

Hi Rob,
With regard to the edge sensitivity?
It's great. I am fine. No unwanted edge triggers.
Thank you!
Manuel
