I’m doing what you are trying, but with a TD-17 module. I’m using the latest version of the 1.4 beta software.

for the TD-17 I set the cymbal pad notes to the same open bow and open edge in the module. This is different from the EZDRUMMER2 notes, so I use note banks to switch between EZDRUMMER2 and TD-17 notes. Then with the pedal CC4 data the TD-17 correctly triggers open and closed sounds based on the pedal position. The pedal note is for the pedal chic sound. The TD-17 does not have a note for splash, but I found the Roland map splash note in eDRUMin works. Also the same splash note in EZDRUMMER2. So that makes it easy.

In the latest version of the beta Rob fixed a bug that when in “standard” the CC4 was always channel 1. So maybe there was channel mismatch for your CC4?

Wish I could be more help, but I am a MIdI novice. I’m just glad Rob made eDRUMin super easy for newbies like me.
