When I quit the Control App and reopen it, the device reverted back to "normal" mode. Changing this setting doesn't seem to stick between sessions.

Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Miscellaneous Roland triggers. ED-10 + ED-4. MacBook Pro (2015), 16G RAM, Big Sur. Superior Drummer 3. Logic Pro.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Nice catch. Fixed for build 5.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Changes in build 5
- Much improved updating over the USB host port.
- Recipe manager will now remember selected presets, last loaded presets and factory/user setting for each preset type.
- Presets can be sorted by modified date, creating data, or alphabetically.
- Fixed child devices missing after updating over USB host port.
- Fixed 'Advanced Mode' setting not being properly recalled.
- Attempting to update an eDRUMin which is connected to a hub which is in turn connected to a USB port of another eDRUMin will likely fail. Power cycling will bring it back to life.
- Updating of the the USB host port on linux isn't working yet.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Thanks Rob for all the ongoing fixes, cool new features, and being so on top of things. You and your product(s) are truly one of a kind!
I have a quick question: In advanced mode, with dual zone cymbal selected, are the Bow, Edge sensing, and Position sensing supposed to all have independent velocity curves? On my setup two change together and the third is independent. It's only edge sensing that is independent on mine. The independent button does not show up, the position tab does not highlight when I click on it and no independent button comes up like with edge sense which does highlight when clicked.
And I should say I am probably using edrumin in a more experimental way than most, as I have small DIY single piezo pads set to dual-mono inputs, that i get 3 zones out of when set to dual zone cymbal (this seems to be the best setting for this). I switched to many different pad types but can't highlight the position button in any so no independent. thanks again, Mbira

Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
2.2.0.5 on win 7: the good and some questions:
1. the last loaded preset highlighting is so great!
2. the 'position' settings are so much easier to work with now!
3. When I double click on a preset it now says it 'will overwrite the settings'. Maybe always did? But at first I thought it was going to overwrite the current preset and not just load a new preset. Is it just any unsaved changes in the current preset that are lost if I proceed? Maybe overwrite is not the best word?
4. I am still using custom notes how do I load these in the 'new snapshot load options' if I want to use the custom setting?
5. Can you tell me exactly what is included in "input settings" in the 'new snapshot load options'?
6. What does the save icon in the 'new snapshot load options' actually save? Is it just what you have selected to load from the preset? If so do you have to click the save icon before loading the preset?

Changes in build 6
- Fixed USB host port firmware updating eDRUMin devices connected to a hub.
- Fixed USB host port firmware updates on Linux.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
You'll be overwriting the settings stored in the device, not the preset.mrmbira wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 9:07 pm3. When I double click on a preset it now says it 'will overwrite the settings'. Custom notes are stored in the note banks. Just tested and it's working. I'm change it to say Notes / Note Banks.4. I am still using custom notes how do I load these in the 'new snapshot load options' if I want to use the custom setting?
Ya, I will eventually make a video to talk about that.5. Can you tell me exactly what is included in "input settings" in the 'new snapshot load options'?
It saves the load options. And yes, it looks like you do.6. What does the save icon in the 'new snapshot load options' actually save? Is it just what you have selected to load from the preset? If so do you have to click the save icon before loading the preset?
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
thanks for answering all of my other questions. Still wondering if my question above is an issue with the control app or not?mrmbira wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 3:21 pmThanks Rob for all the ongoing fixes, cool new features, and being so on top of things. Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
No independent curve for positional sensing. Each input only has 4 curve settings so if it's in dual mono, the most you get it two per piezo. I can't remember how I worked that out though.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Changes in build 7
- Fixed disappearing flash memory icon issue.
- Fixed issue chocking metal cymbals on ED4R1.
