Hang12,

Thanks for all the bug reports. I will go through them today. To go back back to version 1.6 on a Mac, uninstall the control application by deleting it from the Applications folder, and then reinstall version 1.6. Then go to the firmware section and you''ll be able to downgrade the firmware.

Yeah - I thought that the old v1.6 installer would overwrite the v2 eDRUMin app. I didn't check its version after trying to go backwards, darn it.
So... before replying to you here, I downgraded the firmware via another computer, on both devices, and then back at my drum computer discovered via 'get info' that the app was still stuck on v2.0. So I did delete it and re-install, before writing this reply.
OK I'm up, v1.6 presets, and running again! Yay.
Since I now have a parachute, I will attempt another look-see. It was pretty much as expected for an early beta version - kind of clunky - but interesting! I just got two new SD3 libraries to check out, so maybe back to beta tomorrow.

Main first impression though was that all of the triggers were outputting the MIDI note to trigger the snare drum in SD3 - so I don't know if everything needs to be manually reset (even though the MIDI note numbers are visibly looking like the v1.6 assignments, from loading up the saved v1.6 device presets). I did not get far enough to test this.

I fixed all the issues you pointed out.
-Action is repeated every time you re-click the same highlighted preset
-Changing the the filters after a text edit is already in focus prevents it from regaining focus or remembering its current text
-Can't save pedal preset (was already fixed in version 2).
-Inputs not sending the correct notes
-UPDATE: Fixed crash when cancelling 'Firmware Update' and then clicking 'Update' again.

The issue with the notes is that even if the pad function is set to 'Note Banks', it's still pulling the notes from the drum map (but displaying the correct notes in the control application). Maybe wait until the next build to test again.

Hey Rob,
Is there any chance that 1.7 could include Positional Sensing for Yamaha TCS pads? The new DTX-Pro module implements PS for both mesh and their TCS pads.

Thanks!
I just want to second MisterE's interest in positional sensing for Yamaha TCS pads.
