I get full range continuous 1 to 127 values.
And I get a 3-zone HH... Bell, Bow and Edge. Pretty cool!
Same except I built a Hall effect sensor which is the simplest DIY project ever. Magnet is attached to the nut at the bottom of the rod on this hi-hat stand that came with the Accent kit. I wrapped InstaMorph around it to keep it in place. The project boxes are from Polycase.

Here's the sensor hot glued inside the project box:

but the RHH135 did not work well for me. Nowhere near to a Roland FD-9 I used before.

I only get very bad CC Data. Is it because
a) the RHH135 simply is not that great (it has a starnge mechanism)
b) it does not work great with the edrumin
c) I am doing something wrong

Hello
I've got an hybrid drums (yamaha pads + drone trigger system)
For Drone trigger System, i'm sure that eDrumIn will work (they are Roland compatible)
But not sure for Yamaha pad : can you tell me if these pads are ok with eDRUMSin
- RHH135 (with HiHat stand) : 4zones
- PCY135 (3 zones)
- PCY100 (3 zones)

Thank you

We are maintaining a list of pads and cymbals that are reported to work: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=611

The PCY-135 and PCY-100 are listed. No RHH-135 yet that I’ve seen reported.

Thank you for your answer !

I see Yamaha PCY155 (all 3 zones) - Yamaha PCY135 3 Zones - Yamaha PCY100 (all 3 zones) are supported
I will search if RHH135 can work (https://fr.yamaha.com/fr/products/music ... index.html)

Your name is RHH135 anyone > I thought it was because you have one ! And that works with

Any ideas?
Hi,

I'm using SSD5, here's how I set it up (copied from another thread):

When I set up my hihat, I had to assign the correct midi notes of my hihat pad to the corresponding midi notes of my VST (which is Steven Slate Drums 5).
Then I had to select the *Pedal Editor* on the left bar and assign a pedal note which had to correspond to the CC hihat midi note of my VST...this took me some trial and error to find the right one because
a) it wasn't stated explicitly in the manual of the eDrumin as with other VSTs like SD3, BFD3 and Addictive Drums
b) SSD5 is not always self-explanatory. Mapping anything with(in) SSD5 has always been its weakest point.

For anyone who wants to know, here are the Midi notes to get the hihat running in SSD5:

PEDAL
Pedal note: D0
Splash: C#4
CC: 4
Channel: 10

HIHAT PAD
Edge: D0
Bow: A#1

As you can see, opposite to the other VSTs mentioned in the eDrumin manual, the same midi note (D0) has to be assigned twice with SSD5.

[end of quote]

Maybe that will do?

Best regards,
Pim

2 for tip : 42 F#1 and 64 E3
