Hi,

If you want to avoid hotspot and keep positional sensing go for ATV AD-S13 as mentioned here by Rob:

They do hotspot unfortunately, I used a PD-120 as a snare for a few years. I would not recommend them as a snare as the rim detection is not on par with the PD-125 or newer. Edge sensor is on a single cross bar so the rim detection has some blind spots.

I have one because Rob developed ps it in the last releases of firmware.
Please click the link in my post above and read the Rob's post.

He developed it for those two. And in my opinion the feature is a gamechanger. That's probably the reason why Rob called it 'his snare of choice'

Apologies Nemo, you are 100% correct. I'll correct my posts so i'm not spreading bad information :D

I didn't realise that was possible. Tempted to get one myself!
