Just Grab pair of ED4, hopefuly they can arrive safely soon, coz I'm trying with free shipping this time (tight budget... LoL)
Now.. just thinking how to combine them w/ED8... and sell my Z17 (wish someone will buy it. LoL)
are there any certain rules bout the cable length? USB Hub? for two ED4 to ED8 does it hsve to be self powered USB hub? (it is still using USB2 right?)
Any sugesstions are appreciated, thanks in advance

Use an unpowered 4 port hub. USB2 or USB3 hubs will both work.

Thanks Rob...just to clear out... if they come then my configuration will be 2 ED4 and 1 ED8...so i connecting them all with unpowered 4 USB hub from ED4 USB B to ED8 Host port...then ED8 USB B to PC...
incase i want to trigger Drum Module instead of vst...what options doi hav with it? still wondering how to powered ED8 if it host port are using for connecting other ED4, Thanks

There's some connection diagrams in the manual. You can connect your module to the ED8 MIDI Out port and it'll receive the MIDI from all three eDRUMins. The ED8 will be powered by your PC, and the ED4s will get their power from the ED8.

noted, thanks Rob.. i already knew the power diagram if ED8 connected to PC, what i still courious is when ED8 not connected with PC,...but host port are connected eith ED4, so the option i triggerthe module is only by ED8 midi out right? cant i use unused port on usb hub to trigger drum module or to powered ED8?
I noticedthat ED4 got 9V power adapter.. if i connecting ED4 with ED8 without PC.. does ED4 can powered ED8 with that 9V power adapter equiped? thanks

excuse my lack of understanding, do u want to say that ED8 Port B can b use as power port if connected to a regular android charger adapter?

You can power the ED8 by connecting its USB B port to a phone charger. Your module may even have a USB-A port for a memory stick and you can probably use that.

avoid using usb hub when updating EDC? should i direct connecting all of my three EDs (ED8, 2ED4) when i updating the control software, then put it bsck on hub afer it? thanks 4 ur informations
