Oh, then I guess Slate drums 5.5 has indeed more articulations than the mimic pro, I checked the mimic manual and it seems you can use virtual “midi pads” and assign a sound to it, maybe there’s the solution, send midi notes to this virtual pads and assign the other articulations, but I don’t see how this would work for one pad only, confusing…josecarlo1129 wrote:Hello sir.
Just checked the device. That's all in there, the one I posted initially. No midi notes for the side, rim click and sideshot

Re: EDRUMin 10 + Pearl Mimic Pro Set-up
Thank you for taking time to look around for a possible solutions. Looking forward to see some light from the other members of the other forum who managed to have this set-up working properly. Maybe I am expecting too much of the eDRUMin.lalo wrote:Oh, then I guess Slate drums 5.5 has indeed more articulations than the mimic pro, I checked the mimic manual and it seems you can use virtual “midi pads” and assign a sound to it, maybe there’s the solution, send midi notes to this virtual pads and assign the other articulations, but I don’t see how this would work for one pad only, confusing…josecarlo1129 wrote:Hello sir.

In a video by Luke of the edrum workshop about layering sounds there's a brief take on "Midi Pads", each of them have 5 Zones, labeled Zone 1, 2, 3, 4,5, if you click on one of those what comes then?

I tried it myself, sir.lalo wrote:In a video by Luke of the edrum workshop about layering sounds there's a brief take on "Midi Pads", each of them have 5 Zones, labeled Zone 1, 2, 3, 4,5, if you click on one of those what comes then?
On the MIDI Pads under 'Snare' only 3 zones under both layers, 1 & 2 are available to see Midi Notes- reason I reported back to you that other than "Center', 'Rim' and "Rimshot' no other layers (which are: 'side', 'rimclick' and 'sideshot') and its corresponding Midi notes were spotted.
This is also verified if one will take a glimpse on the PMP manual V1.0.9, page 40.
