Which Cables Are Recommended For The Module?

Post by Tim »

I received my eDrumIn 10 and Diamond Drum Triggers, however, I don’t have any cables to connect them.

Any recommendations? Will TRS 1/4-inch Balanced cables work?

I appreciate the help!

I’m using Hosa 1/4” TRS cables without any issues.

Whatever you choose I recommend getting decent quality cables especially for the cymbals. The cymbals move a lot and can be tough on the soldering points. I’ve had a couple cables break at these joints until I bought some decent ones.

This is what I bought the last time I bought cables: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088G ... UTF8&psc=1

That long metal sleeve holds the cable joint stationary so the entire cable joint moves as one.

I have a Cable snake from Drum-Tec. Workds great so far.
The cables have different lenghts, what comes handy in my opinion.

You even have some spare cables, if one should break.

If you're on a budget consider Rockville Audio.

These have been working very well for me - pack of 8 - 10ft TRS right angle to straight molded ends for $55

im not here to tell you which ones are the best (came here to find that out), just to give a word of advice: do not buy flat head cables. I bought some 90° anlgle cables with flat head because they have given me good results with other equipment, but they dont fit all at the same time in the edrummin. At the end I had to buy other cables.

I usually put the 90" into the cymbal or pad (drums in my case) and the straight end into the eDRUMin
