Your OS version is supported still. You don't need an electrical engineering skills to use an eDRUMin, but it certainly helps to understand the basics of how drum pads work.

thank you very much for your kind help!! Setting up the drums should not be a problem at all, but anything involving soldering might be. I’m glad that eDRUMin seems to be compatible enough.
