Hello everybody,
has anyone tried these pads?
They look very cheap compared to the size, what did they leave behind?
Are they capable of positional sensing?
General opinions?

No personal experience, but from just a quick glance at the Drum-Tec product page here, I see that the pad is described as using "new, patented, multi-sensor design for the snare drum and toms that completely eliminates the problem of hotspots" — which suggests to me that it's not capable of Positional Sensing — and which is mentioned by one of the reviewers.

In terms of price this looks reasonable, considering that similar Roland products are ridiculously over-priced, given the actual technology involved. (Four hundred bucks for a couple of piezos in a plastic bucket? Come on )
