PD-125BK preset on ED10R1 vs ED4R2

I received by ED4R2 in the mail and I briefly spent some time today setting it up. I moved my snare (PD-125BK) from a ED10R1 to the ED4R2. Both devices are on latest 1.5 beta (which is think is 1.5.0.16 firmware which is actually 1.5.0.18). I used the PD-15BK preset saved on 1.5 beta to set up the snare on the ED4R2. I immediately noticed that there was random light rim triggers every second or so without any contact on the rim. I bumped the threshold up and that fixed the random triggers. However, while playing there was also double triggers (like I had seen before) so I bumped up the decay and fixed that. I guess my question is, is that expected between ED10R1 and ED4R2? I didn’t get a chance to play much more, but it looks like all is good with new settings. I wasn’t expecting to have to adjust anything hence my question.
