Same here. Might try to just have the app open for 20 minutes and see what happens.Rob wrote:I will try again tomorrow.

Re: eDRUMin 1.3 BETA now available (again)
just experienced a lockup on iOS control build 16, knobs work but no midi sent.
Re: eDRUMin 1.3 BETA now available (again)
I posted build 25. I made some optimizations to reduce USB bandwidth and another tiny little adjustment that seems to have made all the difference. I had this build running on iOS with the thresh controls way down so that the inputs were triggering at random. It ran for an hour before I shut it down. I'm optimistic, but fingers crossed.

Version 25 allows me to Hihat_slpash !!! Thank you Rob!
I was plannung to get a hihat with adjustable Spring before 25.
Wouild you still get another "faster" Hihat Machine ?

Interesting approach. I just downloaded the latest builds and did the same. It's been running for over 25 minutes now, with no issues...Rob wrote:I had this build running on iOS with the thresh controls way down so that the inputs were triggering at random.
UPDATE: it's been over an hour. I've sat down at the kit as well, played some rudiments, fiddled with some settings. No lock-ups.
UPDATE 2: I left the device alone for another hour (control app open) and when I returned there was no more signal. Not sure when that happened. I’d set the Thresh back to normal, and the iPad had gone to sleep (maybe related?) So who knows. Still seems like a solid 2 hours of uptime.

Re: eDRUMin 1.3 BETA now available (again)
For 'UPDATE 2', had the device locked up? Dropping the signal to the Control Application would be expected, BTW. I'll do some more playing today, but I'm pretty confident the issue is sorted. Thanks for all your help testing.

There was no MIDI out with the iPad asleep, so I assume the device did lock up.Rob wrote:For 'UPDATE 2', had the device locked up? FWIW I think this is pretty much sorted too. I don’t see a reason for most users to play with the control app open for hours on end. My kit is pretty much all dialed in; I could see a use case for making small adjustments on the fly, but no extended sessions. I think the iOS app is a very nice bonus, but if I were setting up a kit from scratch I’d use the desktop version anyway.

Re: eDRUMin 1.3 BETA now available (again)
Changes in build 26
- Fixed an issue that could crash the device when using the host port and Control Application is open.
Re: eDRUMin 1.3 BETA now available (again)
Something's not right with build 26; it conks out after a couple of seconds. Tried to downgrade; screen says I'm at firmware 1.0.0.0.

Power cycle and see if it comes back up.
