Using multiple autarc drum modules

Post by mprinz »

Dear Rob,
dear community,

What do you guys use if you would like to connect one pad to two modules.
I own an Millenium MPS850 and an eDrumIn device, I'm using both modules together in a "complicated" VST setup.
To complicated to start for the kids and to complicated for my wife when I am at work. :-)
The kids also like to use the click and the play-along-songs from the simple MPS module. And somehow, they like the sounds....

Rob, can I split a trigger signal with a simple Y-cable or will I run into
noise, damping - whatever - issues?

Are there some guys who use a certain patchbay or something?

Thanks for a short comment.

If you use a splitter in that way, it's definitely going to affect the performance on both modules. Not advised. I would use a DPDT switch instead.
