Hello everybody,
I have a Roland TD9Kx, I already use the 2 inputs available on the TD9 module and I would like to have more modules:
-> 1 tom (I bought a PDX 100)
-> 1 more cymbal (waiting for a midi modules that works )
I use SD3 for sounds with reaper as DAW
I've tried the DDrum DDTI but it has a bad latency and bugged (some hits are not sent when playing fast), the velocity is bad (even after tweaking).
I've been told that a new module has came out and sound very promising: the eDRUMin !
so here I am !
as I said in the subject I have 2 questions:
1. Do you currently ship to France with the covid period (here the gouv push to go to work to make economy work so I think shipping can now be done)
2. Does eDRUMin correctly work with the TD9 module (I have a midi IN) (I think the answer is yes but I'd like to ask )
Thanks for your answer !
eDRUMin - shipping to france and TD9 support
Re: eDRUMin - shipping to france and TD9 support
Shipping to France is available (one of the few countries I'm still able to provide free shipping for). And while I don't have a TD9 to test with, I can't imagine it having issues. In Reaper, you don't actually need to send the eDRUMin MIDI through the TD9, a track in Reaper can accept and merge MIDI from multiple sources.
Re: eDRUMin - shipping to france and TD9 support
Hi Rob thanks for your quick reply.
So I just plug the edrumin in usb to my pc as a 'second' drum module and can use both TD9 / eDRUMin 'separately' ?
that sounds nice !
I think you'll have a new customer soon

Precisely. I haven't used Reaper in a while, but I know that a track can accept MIDI data from multiple devices. So ya, you could use them separately or you could combine the MIDI into a single track.
