using with Roland SPD SX Pro

Post by PaulCunningham »

Anyone used an eDrumin with a Roland SPD SX Pro? Could it be used to help get around the external hi-hat articulation limitations of the SPD Pro which only has open or closed hi-hat support? I just ordered a SPD Pro and would like to use with external two-pc hi hat, snare and kick. I already have an eDrumin10 that I use on my A2E kit.

If it only has samples for open and closed, then I can't see the ED10 being of much help in that regard.

If you are using sounds from EZD, then yes, it'll work like you want it to.

Thanks Rob! I plan on trying several setups with and wo the eDrumin and trying several pedals, snare and couple of cymbals to make a small kit. If I get it all working I will post in the forum about it.
