It's a known firmware issue. Its fixed already. I'll post a fix tomorrow.

Thanks, Rob! Much appreciated!

I posted build 30 with a fix for communicating with the iOS app and fixed a bug that would prevent an independent velocity curve from working properly until one of its values was changed.

Thanks Rob!
I can confirm connecting to an iOS device is now working.

Hi Rob,

My goodness, I thought I was gonna lose it!
I was 100% sure, that I've already already seen the wiring diagram of the rotary encoder in the eDRUMin manual.

Yesterday, the soldering iron was heated up. All the parts ready ... and ...
https://www.audiofront.net/eDRUMin_2.3.pdf ... no diagram. Huh?!

I just soldered it together from memory and it worked fine.

Now, I NEED to double check it and found it via Google in
https://www.audiofront.net/eDRUMin.pdf :D

I see what's going on. The manual link in the download section is incorrect. It should point to eDRUMin_2.3.2.pdf. Fixed.

I've found a bug in 2.3.2.30.

When I export a drum preset to the desktop, the file has data in it.

However when exporting a pedal preset to the desktop, the file is empty.

The preset appears to be fine - I can load it into another pedal slot. It is the exporting to file where the bug is.

Hi Rob - I have two host-port connected ED10R2 modules, and firmware is 2.3.2.30 on both. Trying to use a USB flash drive and sustain pedal to switch through saved presets for both modules, but the USB flash drive save/restore only seems to work for the module the USB drive is connected to. Is this expected behavior? The manual is not clear about that, at least that I could find.

Also - when I connect the sustain pedal to the second module and try to use it to switch presets from the USB, as soon as I press on the pedal the config switches type to Hihat controller by itself. So even if it could change both modules, it would not work with my sustain pedal. I have a video of it that I can send if it helps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Yes, that is the expected behavior. I suppose it would be easy enough to the flash preset change message to propagate to any devices connected to the host port. I'll implement that in the next version.

Hard to say what the issue is, but I suspect the snapshot you are loading has your pedal input saved as a hihat. This is where the 'load options' becomes so powerful. In the example below the entire snapshot will be loaded, except for settings related to the pedal input.
