Assume one has to turn each trigger on before playing and off after. Like with versatrigger. Or am I wrong?
VersaTrigger and DWe triggers turn themselves on. As soon as a note is played on one of the pads it wakes up the hub.

Ok, thanks. I saw the on/off switch in the manual and on pictures thus my mistake.

I even wondered if Rob would do a Kickstarter or something to find it?

I'm just shooting random thoughts out lol

The technology exists to accomplish it I just don't unless how hard it would be to get functioning.

If I was DW or Roland I'd be selling a wireless triggers system set. They'd make a fortune. And could tap into the entire electronic drums industry not just the wealthy few

Versatrigger were amazing. I had no latency issues at all. I had 3 sets of these I absolutely loved them. I sold them because there were not any updates for the interface, which in fact was similar to the EDRUMin. Very easy to use and very inexpensive. I remember them being around $45 USD. I only had issues when they had to add some type of midiox program online with windows10 then it became a bit clunky to me. But they worked perfectly!

I had a set of versatriggers too, they worked great with my roland pads, I got real rimshots when hitting head+rim at the same time, no latency, but kept waiting for cymbal triggers, I emailed Paul back and forth and he kept pushing their release so in the end I sold them too because I needed a roland module anyway for the cymbals.

They had input boxes you could plug in to for cymbals. They had 3 zone support. I used them with my stealth cymbals and Yamaha hats, PCY 135 and 155 flawlessly. Instead of a trigger it was a 35mm cable that went to the trigger box to a 1/4 trs into the cymbal pad. I wish they were never sold to DW. But I am happy for Paul.

Really? I don't even remember, it was a long time ago, 10 years ago maybe.

Yes, I owned a couple of those and gave them away not too long before DWe came out, thinking they'd no longer be supported and I headed down other paths.
