EdrumIn and hit-hat controler and ride Millenium

Post by RxMan »

Good morning,

I am currently transforming an acoustic drum kit into an electronic one using an MPS 850 millennium kit.
My trigged acoustic drums will have 4 jovaky triggers for the toms and kick.
I browsed the forum and found that the 2 millennium crashes would work.

My questions :

- Will the 2 crash muffle function work when I pinch the edge of the crash?

https://www.thomann.de/fr/millenium_mps ... sh_pad.htm

- Will the 3 zone millenium ride with a single jack connected work?
I d'on't find the ride on Thoman, the description for the MPS850 is : 1 pad Ride 12" three playing zones with muffling function

- Will the hit hat with a jack on the cymbal and a jack on the controller work?
https://www.thomann.de/fr/millenium_mps ... roller.htm

I have provided you with the links from Thomann to view the elements.

I thank you very much for any answers you can give me. The objective for me is to control a VST from a sound card with an 8-input edrumin will be connected.

Pretty sure all those cymbals will work well.

For the HH, there's not much information about them, except that the one you linked needs power (I'm guessing it's optical?).

I suggest to go with this one instead, no external power needed, and they say it works well with a TD3. If it works with a TD3, it will work with the eDRUMin.

Good morning,
Thank you very much @perceval for this answer which reassures me about the cymbals.
For the hit-hat, I actually have a power supply for this controller.
So I think that all my questions are resolved and I will be able to buy edrumin in a few weeks.
Thank you so much
