midi split for mono pad

Hi All...
Just want to know, has anyone ever explored a bass drum with two beaters so you can get dedicated midi notes for each beater? so that will available to trigger two different bass drum in superior drummer 3.
Any shares will b appreciated, thanks in advance

The only way that could work is by using the Bix beater/triggers. You will need to split a stereo input into two mono.

Otherwise, how would the module know which beater is used on the same trigger and mesh head?

Thanks for ur shares @perceval, i was thinking bout giving another articulation on it or using positional sensing since its still piezo centered mesh pad then mapping it in SD3 for right n left beater (i use area 33 library which had two bass drum on its preset) , still tweaking around here... managed to trigger right n left kick but not that consistenly controlled....thanks again for ur care n share.
