Grey line not moving...

okay this one needs explaining....

So I am trying to set up the x-stick on my snare and its not working because the little line that moves around the green grey and black box just doesn't move side to side, therefore I cant get rimshots or x-stick.

The weirder thing is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't - I am using a DDrum 14"x (I want to say 6?) snare shell with a Diamond drum centre trigger bar installed.

Is it the height of the trigger pressing against the skin thats wrong? I just don't really understand that and never have, I would say it is the thing in edrumin that needs improving the most because its really confusing...

Any ideas?

Can you hit the rim of the snare and then post a screenshot of your settings so I can have a look?

Also if it's really not moving, it probably means that your rim sensor is not working, or you have a bad cable or the cable is not completely plugged in.

okay so the small 1/4" - 3.5mm jack cable wasnt in properly but its still not working or the line isnt moving. So I hit the rim as you said...

no idea why, its very odd, im using SD3 as well. I'm just gonna try restarting everything quickly - you never know

oh I meant to say - the dot you can see is where the rim is triggering the main centre piezo...

I think my rim piezo is broken tbh... cant see any signal coming in on the right hand side....

Yup, the eDRUMin is not receiving any signal from the rim sensor.
