Hello.
I am afraid latest update (build 12) bricked my ED4 (1st revision, plastic). Update worked fine on my ED4R4.
I have updated it on Linux machine (Ubuntu studio 22.04). System (and eDC) recognizes that it is connected (correctly as ED4), but that is about it.
Edrumin Control (on Linux and Windows machine) says it is 1.0.0.0. firmware and needs update, but if I click on update - it goes "Rebooting" and then "Waiting" and after that it throws Error. I don't have option to reset the device.
Led lights on the unit itself doesn't work. No signal over USB MIDI detected, when I try to hit a pad.
eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
I've removed build 12 for the moment. Let me investigate and I'll get back to you.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
I posted build 14 which fixes an issue that caused ED4R1 device to crash.

Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
hey Rob, I am using dual mono pads and am needing to sometimes set the positional setting at 1 on one pad and 2 on the other. But Edrumin 10 (latest firmware) won't allow me to change these independently. When I change this setting ( I think it is for Roland or other positional setting) in the control app page for either mono input it changes on the other page too. Is there any fix for this? Everything else seems to work independantly. thanks, Mbira
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
You should be able to set them independently. I'll look into it later today. What pad type are you using?
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Correction, the position sensing method cannot be changed independently. The two dual mono inputs will need to share the same settings. Sorry.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
Ok thanks for looking into it. No big deal I found a way to work around this.
Re: eDRUMin version 2.2 BETA available
I just messed around with the other settings until I got both mono pads to work with positional sensing. I have mostly DIY pads so i doubt any of the settings I came up with would help anyone else.
