Splitting Mono Pads Issue

Post by KSJM89 »

Hi all,

Trying to split channel 1 & 2 with Bass Drum & FT then High and Mid rack Tom's respectively, I have selected the Mono dual option and then set the Bass drum and Floor Tom and respective for rack Tom's.

I seem to get the same hits... using a stereo TRS split cable with Drum Tec TRs cables so that eliminates that, unless I need a stereo input to mono outputs? If it's not that could it be mapping? Although I don't think it could be?

Anyone had this issue or can help?

Added a screen shot of the cable I'm using to clarify.

Cheers

Kyle

Yup, the second link seems to be the right kind of splitter. You want stereo (TRS) to dual mono (TS).
