Hi all,
I'm looking to upgrade my hi hat. I'm considering the VH12.
(although I will first revisit the drone optical controller with a lemon 13 after reading great reviews. I had a disastrous experience, but that was with dual metal setup)
It looks like the VH12 and VH13 have a function where tight pressure increases the hi hat pitch. Is this replicable with eDRUMin (and SD3)?
VH12 / VH13 hi hat pitch?
Re: VH12 / VH13 hi hat pitch?
VH 10, 11, 12, 13 all support that functionality with eDRUMin, but really it comes down to the application you are using to trigger the sounds.
Re: VH12 / VH13 hi hat pitch?
Thanks Rob.
How is the pitch change sent from eDRUMin, please?
Is it CC or a control message?

Re: VH12 / VH13 hi hat pitch?
They are the same, so I guess it's both. It's just sending the regular CC4. You would typically set them up so about 120 is closed, and then your closed pressure is from 120-127 for example.
Re: VH12 / VH13 hi hat pitch?
Oh ok, so the higher pitch is essentially the 'tight' articulation?
