edrumin 10 midi out to 2box midi in

Has anyone tried to trigger 2box sounds sent by an edrumin 10 via midi out-midi in? How's the response if everything is connected to the edrumin10, since you can put any note you want on any input, even cymbal chokes can be sent as note since 2box doesn't support aftertouch for choke.

And help to understand midi, is everything sent over a midi message like curves and trigger (threshold, sensitivity etc.) parameters? or is only notes and control messages and one needs to set that on the 2box itself aas if the pads were connected to the 2box module? hard to wrap my head around that...

Only midi is sent. That's all that's needed. I didn't realize that 2box didn't support aftertouch.

If you can let me know the default choke notes for the cymbals, I'll add those to the 2box drum map.

sure, the notes are G4,D5 and G5 for Cym 1,2,3 respectively.
