Studiologic SLPD3 Capability

Hello everyone,
I just discovered Audiofront only a few days ago and very impressed with the potential here.

The Studiologic SLPD3 is a three-pedal piano pedal controller that uses a Tip/Ring?sleeve approach to be able to use only One controller input jack fo all of the functions. I am thinking that this is somewhat proprietary to Studiologic but would be very interesting to see something like this incorporated into the MIDI EXPRESSION interfaces.

I can imaging only having to occupy one input for three controls would really be nice. I am testing/reviewing their SL88 Grand it has been great to have that flexibility. It frees up the other three inputs for another expression pedal and two additional pedal switches.

I look forward to possibly being able to work together to let more users know of the potential that is possible with MIDI EXPRESSION.
All the best,
Simeon

Electronically is would be easy enough to support that pedal, but on the UI side is wouldn't. The UI and the memory structures on MIDI Expression devices only support two switches per input.

I see, thanks so much for the reply.
It was a very good move for Studiologic to build in that capability, as it allows so much to be leveraged by a single input. I think even at two possible inputs per jack, that is a very impressive possibility.

I would love to share MIDI Expression with other users. Please feel free to contact me to see how we might be able to work together.

All the best,
