Which Looper on macOS?

Any advice on a macOS looper which works well with a MIDI Expression? So far, my favourite looper has been Loopor, a plugin meant for the MOD Duo pedal. The reason it suits me is that it records while the footswitch is on, stops recording when it’s off, and loops immediately. It also responds to double-tap to reset the looper. To me, that’s a pretty natural approach to livelooping with loops of arbitrary length.
Tried a variety of plugins (and even some Reaktor ensembles) and haven’t found one which provide this functionality in an obvious way. Could probably create my own Reaktor ensemble or Max patch but chances are that a plugin already exists for this usage pattern, given the number of loopers out there.

As a followup…
Sounds like SooperLooper is my best option. Have yet to find the best setup for it, especially with a two-button footswitch acting as a single-button one. But it does come close to my needs.
Otherwise, found an interesting M4L device which does MIDI looping with a single-button.

The Max patch itself is simple enough. Should be able to adapt it to my needs. But it’s already pretty neat to generate MIDI loops which record, start, and stop at the press of the same button. Been getting stuck notes, but that in itself is interesting. The footswitch can then act as a way to play parts of the note sequence.
Was mostly playing with the same SynthMaster One patch which includes its own delay and reverb. Probably not a good idea for loops. But it made me realize that a cool setup can be to have the loop work on one instrument and the live sound coming from another. That’s especially true with the MIDI looper. Had adapted my patch to breath control (CC02 modulates cutoff frequency) but the looper didn’t keep the CC modulation. So the loop would be almost inaudible (extremely low cutoff). With two instances of the SM1 plugin, one works through the looper (without delay, reverb, or breath control) and the other serves as soaring lead (with delay, reverb, and breath control).
Will probably get an expression pedal, tomorrow. This will finally give me a second CC input from my foot. Might use it to play with loop speed or other things like that.
