Hi,

I am using my Mac with garageband as a digital amp and I am currently trying to use an expression pedal (moog ep-3) with the midi expression IO to control the onboard guitar effects, while playing guitar. I want to use it as a wah pedal for example, but I cant find a way to do so. I can control volume and pan, but no effects.
Could anyone please give me advice on that subject? like what #cc to use (i have tried cc11 so far for controlling the effects, to no avail) or which channel to use?

Most sequencers have built in MIDI 'learn' functionality for assigning MIDI CCs to onscreen controls. Unfortunately, I don't think GB has this feature. 3rd party plugins usually have this functionality too. I'm sure this is not the answer you want, but I highly recommend Mainstage over Garageband if you want to get the most out of your MIDI Expression and pedal.
