I have a Yamaha P-115 electronic piano which lacks an expression pedal input, a Mac running El Capitan, and I use Logic Pro. Can I:
- connect the Yamaha to one of my computer's USB ports for MIDI
- connect my Roland EV-5 MIDI expression pedal to the Audiofront MIDI Expression device and connect it to my computer's OTHER USB port

such that when triggering Logic Pro's internal sounds with the Yamaha, the expression pedal would ALSO affect what I'm playing with continuous MIDI controller data?

Thanks for any confirmation!

Yes. Logic and virtually every other DAW host will combine all MIDI input and send it to the track that is armed for recording.
