Hi. I'm Pep Ahuir. I am a pianist and I am interested in your pedal-interface. I have doubts to decide which interface to buy. A) I doubt between the Midi-expression-quattro and the Midi-expression-io: I want to choose the most stable configuration! My equipment is: 1) piano yamaha p-95 with midi output; 2) hammond Ferrofish B4000 + with midi input, usb output and pedal expresion and swith; 3) Motu Ultralite AVB interface with midi input and output; 4) Computer PC with Windows 10; 5) Software Cubase 8 and AblentonLive with Halion, GuitarRig, etc. Currently I connect the piano by midi to hammond and this by usb to the computer, so I can use hammond expression pedals as software expression pedals. I would like to continue to use these pedals for the sothware while using the pedals of the Midifront pedal-interface. My questions are: 1) pedal-interface recommend me and 2) how would you connect the whole computer to have a stable configuration?
B) Another issue: my expression pedals are MGear EX-P. Does the Midifront pedal interface work with this pedal?

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I'm just returning from vacation.

Either MIDI Expression device will serve you well, but the iO will definitely give you more options and make working with the MIDI inside Cubase and Ableton easier.

Does the Hammond have MIDI out?

I see that the hammond doesn't have MIDI Out. Cubase and Live can record from 'All MIDI Inputs' so you could keep your current setup and simply add a MIDI Expression to your computer and the MIDI data will be combined automatically when you record

If you really wanted to use a just one USB MIDI Input, then an iO could be hooked up to the second MIDI input of the Hammond or daisy chained between the p95 and the Hammond. Using the latter method would allow you to take advantage of the MIDI Effects processing functions of the iO.
