Hi,
I happen to have a FS6 dual pedal laying around. It has a TRS output for both pedals to function simultaneously. I had the idea of using the FS6 to somehow connect to the iPad pro running Loopy HD and use it to control Loopy's recording capabilities handsfree. Would the original MIDI expression input work in this situation? I assume I'll have to connect it via the Ipad camera connection Kit . Is the ME powered by the USB of the iPad's CCK? If so then , that would be great to have an entirely portable setup without need for power outlets.
And even thinking further, could the MIDI expression somehow connect to the ipad via bluetooth, with some type of bluetooth transmitter device? Anybody ever tried this?
Would it also work in a regular DAW setup (Ableton, Win 10) connecting the usb of the ME directly into the laptop? Would the ME appear as a MIDI device within the DAW?
thanks for the help

The answers to all question are 'yes', with a big 'I don't know' for the Bluetooth setup. You'll have to research that one, but I suspect most of the Bluetooth transmitters out there only accept input from a MIDI cable, not a USB cable.
