Firmware Update Problems

Hi,

I am having some problems with my MIDI expression (single input version).

MIDI expression control prompted me to update the firmware, but crashed when doing so.
Here is the latest crash log:

(I've had the same problem on two different machines with the same device).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm going to be needing to use the MIDI Expression a lot over the next couple of months.

Hi Henry,

That looks like it's probably the crash log from the second machine. If you have the first crash log, I'd like to get a copy of that as well. At any rate, the fix is to update the firmware using the instructions in the following thread. Sorry for the troubles and let me know how it goes.

Thanks for that first crash log. To get the firmware to install you might need to command-click to open that teensy application before you run the script. OSX security settings will prevent the script from opening the teensy application automatically.

Having a similar problem with the Quatro-sent a support request but have not yet received a reply-updated the control app on my 21014 Mbp OS 10.10.3-got the "need to update firmware" and did so from the tab on the app before downloading the separate firmware files.

After it failed I downloaded the firmware files and followed the above instructions-no go-and now the Quatro no longer functions at all-any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....thanks-Roger B.
