Does midi expression allow you to use sustain pedal to control modulation or expression?

If you are asking whether MIDI Expression can make a sustain pedal function as an expression pedal, the answer is no. If you configured it as an expression pedal with the smoothing function, you'd get some sort of sweep between '0' and '127' messages, but nothing resembling a real expression pedal.
