i’m looking to translate expression pedals into variable data byte sysex messages and am simply wondering if the new firmware allows this.

No, currently the SysEx messages are static. Can you describe your use case though so I can consider implementing it in the future?

it’s simple really, i’m just looking to, using my feet on expression pedals, modify parameters in real time on a synthesizer (roland hand sonic) that are only accessible by sysex (and not by cc).
