I'm in NY in August and wondered where your based so I can figure out the best way to buy a quattro without incurring the high taxes we'll get charged via post in the UK.

Hi,

I'm a Canadian based out of Taiwan. I know Europeans take a hit when it comes to VAT, and although I don't have information about American import duty, I suspect it's significantly lower--and in many cases not levied at all.

For the delivery to the US, it typically takes about 7 - 15 days with the average being 10. Just keep that in mind if you do indeed make a purchase.
